About Shah Homair Foundation - NEEDS
- Patna is the nerve centre for all those seeking careers in various spheres. Youths from all over Bihar and even adjacent state(s) come to Patna for counseling, guidance, coaching and education. These youths, especially belonging to the minority and the weaker section of the society, feel exploited at an unfamiliar place like Patna.
- There is a great disparity of approach towards education and accessibility to information. The under-privileged and minorities are not getting the updated and relevant information about career advancement opportunities as their (socio-economically) well-off counterparts.
- The under-privileged and the minorities cannot afford the high cost of coaching and guidance facilities available at Patna. They lag behind due to their economic handicap and social backwardness.
- The ratio of successful minority students is not compatible with the ratio of its population in the list of successful candidates in competitive examinations. This seriously affects the delivery of justice to this section of society and hence they are subsequently deprived of the chance to frame and execute policies of the government especially in regard to their own advancement.
- India has no dearth of talent and intellectual capital – only it has to be properly channelized to bring about the accelerated economic growth of the country. Specialized institutions are required with quality management to nurture the weaker sections of the society.
- Therefore, “SHAH HOMAIR FOUNDATION” resolves to start a Study Centre for providing teaching and guidance to students appearing for different competitive examinations and professional courses at various academic levels.
